We are analyzing a 32” gas pipe line approximately 12 KM. These lines are Piggable line and having Pig launcher / receiver in both the tie in area. Near the Pig Launcher / receiver stations we are having two anchor blocks (U/G). We are doing the static analysis and pig launcher nodes (A/G) are also considered as anchor points. We are getting more loads on the pig launcher nodes and the foundation design loads also increased. Kindly give your feed back whether the method of analysis is correct. Please note that we are not doing any dynamic analysis.
