Dear experts,
I am doing 16 inch stress analysis for metallurgy up gradation of existing line from ASTM A106 Gr. B to incoloy alloy 8825 pipe, the design temperature is 83 degree and design pressure is 13100 Kpa, Here CAESAR II available material for incoloy alloy is B423 N08825,
This material (B423 N08825) error and worming coming, it saying “the temperature case-1 is outside the allowed range” and other incoloy alloy material is not satisfying the service requirements.
Kindly advise me how to resolve this problem in CAESAR II.

Hi,

Check your material data base, for 83 deg C it should not be an issue. Have you checked if the SH values are appearing in your input sheet?

Also check your value of ambient temperature value. All your temperature references (in your input) must fall within the temperature range of the database entry for each material.
