I am making the vertical vessel model in PV Elite (2014). The vessel have bottom conical head then shell and Elliptical head.

I need help to model bottom nozzle (Outlet)on the bottom conical head.

Can I model the bottom nozzle?

Hello Mayur

The way to do this is not to try and model a nozzle. The build order for this nozzle in the bottom head is as follows:

1 first model the flange (if there is one at the end of the nozzle)
2 then model a cylinder which acts as the nozzle
3 then model the cone

That is about the only way you can accomplish this.

Yes, as per your instruction, it's works. I already have model build up. so instead of starting from scratch, I used INSERT commend and place the shell(nozzle pipe) and then flange below the bottom conical head. It's works.
