I'm participating in a pilot program at my plant using iPads to promote productivity. In my job I spend about 50% of my time in the plant and the other 50% on desk work. I do a tremendous amount of analysis followed up with verifying results in the field.

I installed the Intergraph FreeView app for viewing models and it has samples of models for several softwares. I see where this will be a great help, but I am not familiar with the 2 different file types (.iFV and .hsf) or how to extract them. Also, it looks like the software includes a tab for animations. Can anyone shed some light on how to obtain the files and also how to utilize the animations feature?

Thanks,
Pat

If you have CADWorx, then you need to use CDR. If you're a CAESAR II user, you can create an HSF by “save as html”. If you're an S3D user, you can create a VUE file and download the free converter to make iFV files.
