I had a question regarding Slip type expansion joint ( someone calls "slip barrel" first and second guide spacing,
Can we use 4D and 14D as guideline to put first and second pipe support guide?
but I read some document, that shown first guide : 1Foot/Inch NPS, I really doubt this number,
my case is 24in slip type expansion Joint, that means 24 feet away from expansion joint to put first guide.

A slip joint is technically an unrestrained expansion joint, ie it will expose your system to pressure thrust and it will also turn your normally tensile pipe line slightly compressive. As a result, you must guide the line as though it were a compressive column. In metal bellows which are similar to a slip joint, there are guidelines for guiding the line which would be applicable to your application. I have attached a bulletin which was written for LNG loading lines, but goes into depth on guiding requirements that you may find helpful.
