Hi Dave and Richard,
Do we have a way to view model during I buring a pipe,
It is very hard to buring a big model without view model,
I have to print elememt spread sheet and markup all buring node, and print snapshot of model before I run soil model.
I am wondering if I can view model during I am runing soil model,
Is it possible or not, Or do we have a way to see model during runing soil model,

Regards,
Limin

I can't think of any workaround right now.
I would suggest manipulating node numbers to assist here. You could review the model in the input processor and add, say, 5000 to all the nodes that are buried. Then when you get to the buried modeler you could clearly see what needs to be "buried".
I oftentimes break the pipe that enters or leaves the soil to mark the entry/exit point, with a node increment of 10, this new node can be set to end in "5", thus identifying the node to start or end a certain soil model "number" in CAESAR II buried pipe modeler.
By the way, I would also suggest changing initial buried pipe node number increment to 100 rather than 10 so that all added nodes remain in sequence. (This is for the benefit of the human reviewing results, not for the program.)
Again, my suggestions here are workaround. I will add your question as additional background to our "to do" list.

Thanks Dave,
We are working on crude oil terminal project, our model is very big,
and 32000 node number is very tie to us,
and we have more than 20 pipe buried in one model, since they are in one CWP, It is very hard for us to manage soil model.

I suggest you can open a "most wanted to do list" topic in this forum,
since most of us are working on piping stress in Caesar II. our comments are from daily work experience,

Your software developer can know what we are thinking and what we most want.

Thanks
Limin
