In one of my project, “U” stamp vessel have sight glass. TL to TL length of vessel is 4900mm and sight glass length is 4750mm. The DP of vessel is 10.55 Kg/cm2.
Do I need calculation for sight glass? And if required how to calculate sight glass pad flange and Glass thickness.

Treat the part of the sight glass that is welded into the shell as a nozzle, using the actual inside diameter, outside diameter and thickness as though it were nozzle. That is the method I use.
