Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone here has experience in stress analysis of SCP (Spoolable Composite Pipe)?

I'm using Fiberspar SCP linepipe and fittings for designing a buried gas flowline.
As you might know SCP consists of three layers, the inner layer is GRE (Glass Fiber Rainforced Epoxy) and the other two are HDPE.

This linepipe is manufactured as per Canadian standard CSA Z662, however this standard does not provide any formula for calculating stresses.

The other point is that ISO 14692 which can be used for stress analysis of GRE materials does not cover isotropic matrial and cannot be used for SCP.

I'd appreciate if anyone can share their experience.
