iam doing system which is having 10 mm soil settlement,please clarify my following doubt
1)in caesar do we provide soil settlement in Guide and axial stop?
2)stress due to soil settlement is secondary stress?

I presume you have a vertical restraint at the location you wish to apply the settlement? Assuming so, assign a CNODE to that support and displace the CNODE.

Yes, settlement is typically considered a secondary stress.

Still my doubt is not cleared.in vertical support i already applied settlement ,for Axial stop and guide also i need to consider this settlement? as whole support structure will settle right?

I assume you mean something like this:

Node 110 Restraint = Y,
Node 110 Restraint = X,
Node 110 Restraint = Z ?

If node 110 settles, then you can apply a CNODE like this:

Node 110 CNODE = 1100 Restraint = Y,
Node 110 Restraint = X,
Node 110 Restraint = Z and

Node 1100 DY = -aa

You would not have to apply settlement to the X and Z directions, those DOFs are independent.
