Can anybody guide me the method of lowering down the value of Code stress ratio in stress analysis report ?

I am getting a very high CODE stress ratio value due to which my CODE Stress check failed in Sustained & Expansion case.

Very much thankful for your help.

Regards
Rahul

The Code Stress Ratio just shows the relationship between:

actual (Code) stress
--------------------- = Code Stress Ratio
allowable stress

So what you really want to do is lower the actual (computed) Code Stress. How you do this depends on the type of failure (over-stress):

1) If you are over-stressed in the Sustained (primary) case, you typically need more supports.

2) If you are over-stressed in the Expansion (secondary) case, you typically need more flexibility.

This sounds like you have a bit of work to do.
