Hello,

I have done an analysis in CAESAR II V 6.10. Now I want to further analyse the system using the FEA package PCL-GOLD V 3.0. In order to do this I created a CAESAR II neutral file (CII.) However when I try to upload in PCL-GOLD I get the following error

"
Error reading the .cii file. The file was
found, but does not seem to be in the correct
format or was corrupt. Please check that you
have the latest version of the postprocessor."

I would highly appreciate it if anyone who has experience in these software packages to suggest the reason for this error.

Did you send this question and the ".C 2" file to PRG developers of PCL Gold software package.

This is the response from PRG,

PCL v3.0 is a very old version, before CAESAR II 6.10 was out, therefore that version of PCLGold will not be able to read 6.10 CII files. PCLGold 5.0 and forward can read CAESAR II 6.10 version of CII files. If the version is 5.0, please send the "*.C 2" or "*.CII" file to support@paulin.com.
