To all who attempt to run the latest version of CADWorx, I hope you all will submit a Service Request to Intergraph to have them provide us an easier way to know what is the latest version of CADWorx (build date) and provide a link to a page that helps you download the latest and greatest version. Below is the SR that I created. Feel free to copy and paste! cool

The multitude of Service Packs, Hot Fixes and Updates are very difficult to keep up with. In the short term I would think that one added link to the Plant > About menu that directs you to a webpage that shows the latest Build Date would be extremely useful and easy to accomplish. A link on that page to the download page and an itemized list of SP's, HF's and updates with documentation stating what issues they address could be done very easily.

In the long term an auto-updater would be an invaluable resource to your users and also would reduce Service Requests and allow developers more time to improve the software rather than devote so much time addressing issues day-to-day.

In the interim you can visit www.cadworxblog.com and look at the right panel to determine the latest version. I just noticed it is out of date and will contact the site admin to get the latest CW hot fix added.

It would be great if the software did automatically update or at minimum auto-notify.

To make it a priority, users need to ask for it through SmartSupport.

I'd prefer it didn't auto-update. Last thing I need is some rogue user thinking that updating their software will fix a problem instead of causing many.

On Smart Support there is an option (somewhere) where an email will be sent to you when new patches / fixes are released.
