Hello Caesar Users,

I would like to ask if there is a button to include pressure extension in the stress calculation in Caesar II?...or this is already automatically included in the program, no need to hit a button..I'm analyzing FRP pipe as of the moment and I include bourdon effect but I'm not sure if I have included pressure extension in the analysis..Your help is highly appreciated..

Many Thanks,

Hello Borzki,

For FRP CAESAR II automatically turns on Bourden effect (Translational).
Bourden effect is always considered when plastic pipe is used, regardless of settings in Special Ex. Parameters.

Best regards
