Hello All,

Can somebody please explain how to use Nozzle Limit check effectively?

What does excatly mean by Reference Vector ?
How to Create *.EQL file ?

The nozzle check is a "1st pass screening" tool. The "reference vector" defines (for example) the direction of the pump shaft, or the major orientation of the vessel shell. This is necessary so the moments from the CAESAR II analysis can be associated with the correct allowable loads.

'B' should be in the direction you choose for reference vector.

i edit *.EQL file in the software's own *.EQL file, I tried to copy a
block of data from excel to *.eql file ,but CII can't read it , who can
tell me how to do it .

Excel probably has place tabs between your columns when converted to text.

Replace all tabs with a few spaces and try again.

Hello Dave,

Could you please advise if it is necessary to check nozzle load in blast load for FPSO topside? Our client requre to do the nozzle load check with blast load added, does it make sence? this is very difficult for us.
