I am using Caesar II 5.2 and 2011 version. We need some clarity on two following points.
1. In our organization we are using Caesar II, Rohr II, in Rohr II analysis software we have option to set the reserves (like travel or load) for the selection of spring hanger (constant or variable) but in Caesar II I m not able to find such a setting. Please tell from where I can set those reserves for hanger selection and if these setting are not possible in Caesar II then please tell me on the basis of which code (ASME, MSSP58 , VGB etc) Caesar II made selection.
2. In hanger table Caesar giving vendor model number for only Variable hangers but not for constant hanger. Please tell me why it is not giving model no. for constant hanger selection.

1) You cannot set a "reserve" in CAESAR II.

2) There is no real selection for a constant hanger, you just have the load to be supported. This load should then be provided to your hanger vendor so they can design the hardware for the constant effort support.

Ravi Kumar --> Constant Spring Hangers is defined by the length of travel and the load it carries. The point you are trying to support maybe simulated with a Spring rate depending on how much travel is required and the load that is to be supported.
