Hi,There

I have problems runing check flange leakage analysis in pipelines, because the axial load and bending moment is to high and sometimes fail?

Somebody can help me if these check could be use in the same way like above ground pipe.

B.Regards

For bending moment, you may consider the formula given in Note 14 of MANDATORY APPENDIX E/ B31.8

A compressive force does not "open" a RTJ flange joint, so you wouldn't consider it as contributing to leakage.
