This is related to 45 deg. branch connection and its SIFs (FEA calculated) which are inputted manually in Caesar-II keeping branch type blank ==> CASE-I

And CASE-II ==> if we define type of branch in caesar-II keeping same SIFs as per above CASE-I then it shows different results i.e. lower bending stresses as compared to above CASE-I.

Now our understanding is like that FEA based SIFs are calculating in ANSYS software by considering actual geometry of 45 deg. branch connection then in that case whether its required to define type of branch connection again in Caesar-II?

You should always define the tee type, even if you over-ride the SIFs. If you don't define a tee type CAESAR II is unable to determine in-plane versus out-of-plane, hence the moments may not be associated with the appropriate SIFs.
