Hi There,

Im trying to use new option of flange leakge in CII, but I have a problem with that. Your help would be appreciated.
When I select flange checking, the tag will be opened and I select NC option, all data regarding to bolt and Sy are empty. is there any way to fill them out automatically, or it will be done manually?

Regards
Tim

This is described in the "Oct 1991" issue of COADE's Mechanical Engineering News. You can find these Newsletters under the "Support" menu option of this website.

Hi,

Can you please also send me an example of a flange check on a simple piping system? On the project I am working on, the flange geometry standard is based on API 6A type 6BX, and the material description is A694 F65. By the way, I am a new CAESAR II user who is also new to piping stress analysis stuff. Please bear with me. my email address is ldjong@genesisengineers.com

Thanks

Hi,There

I also have problems runing check flange leakage analysis, because the axial load and bending moment is to high always fail, I donīt know if is because there is a pipeline? somebody can help me is the check could be use in the same way.
