Dear all,

I'd like to model a trunnion on straight pipe and I would know what is the correct SIF to apply at the element (at wich element and the correct way to calculate it); I would also know if I'm doing right modelling the trunnion in this way (see attachment).

I already searched in other posts but the concept was not clarify to me;

PS: I read about kellog method but I can't find any information.
