Dear Experts,

Am a beginner in CAESAR. My concern is, In ASME SEC VIII, DIV 1, App 2, you can see some types of flanges being shown and their governing eq. as well. But in CAESAR only welded neck, threaded and socket types of flanges could be modeled.. For ex, How can i model a slip on flange or how does Caesar identifies an exact slip on one and performs the leak test for it ?

Plz help or correct me if i went wrong......

thanks in adance

For a flexibility analysis the type of flange doesn't matter, only the length and weight. If you're trying to actually analyze the flange per ASME SEC VIII Div 1 App 2, use the "Flange Module" under the "Analysis" menu.
