Hi friends from this great fórum....

I believe that it the best in the network.

I have a Piping system that was designed in a marine plataform in the gulf of Mexico. The piping run on elev. 19.100 50% and down up to elev. 16.400 (Wave Zone) My análysis cover all the system...
For the elev. 19.100 I use the Code B31.3 but when the piping down up to Wave zone ... Can I use the same code ??

For the piping down to elev. 19.100 is necesary consider a Wave analysis.... The Caesar II Can't handle WInd and Wave into a same analysis.... My versión no (5.10) why ?? I must to make a analysis for Wave only ??

Thank you very much

Yes you can model both wind and wave on the same model.

You should talk to your project Engineer as to what Codes are required. Two additional Codes you might consider are "B31.4 Chapter 9" and "B31.8 Chapter VIII" - both of these cover offshore analysis of piping systems.

Richard,

Also, DNV code can be used for subsea pipelines.
