Dear all,

I often use the export dxf tool from Caesar II.
It's a useful application, since it's possible to see the attributes of the model...but is it possible to see/export attributes other then lines, node, and points?
For example it would be great to export coefficient friction for each support node or other attributes...
How to do?

By using v.5.30 it happens, while extracting the DXF, not all "support points" are visible. How to fix this problem?

Thanks

I'll file this as an enhancement request.

On the support issue, does "zooming" in on the area of interest help?

Thank for your reply.

About support issue, the problem isn't related to the zoom, but CAESAR II "forgets" some points.

About enhancement request, how long does it take? Just a new build for ver.6.10 or we need to wait for a future version?

Best regards

This would be something we work on for a new version. It probably won't be high on the list of priorities (actually we were thinking of removing this, we didn't think anyone used this any longer).

Hi Richard,

the last sentence doesn't sound good. It would be really useless removing a tool which already exist, from my point of view (personal opinion).
Hope this won't happen.

Anyhow, is there the feasibility, for an external user, to customize that tool? I.e. can a user create a code in order to extract what is needed?

Regards

Send me the job file you're working with and a list of the items that "CAESAR II forgets". I'll take a look at it.
