Hi All

I want to reduce nozzle load for both heat exchanger and compressor suction drums
72"(0.75"wt) & 64"(0.75"wt) pipe connect heat exchanger with two compressor suction drums
Pipe Material is A358 304
Desgin Press. = 1690 KPa
Hydro Press. = 1859 KPa
Desgin Temp. = 75 degree celsius
Insulation Temp. = -40 degree celsius
Flex Temp. = -176 degree celsius
Fluid Den = 5.68 kg/cu.m.
Isulation Den. = 249 kg/cu.m.

Are you asking the forum members to do your work for you ?

Add some flexibility.

Reduce the number of supports.

Thanks Mr. MoverZ for replying me

When I add guides or limit stops or changing the routing, the result of nozzle load is high
sometime at 75 degree celsius according to expansion or at -100 degree celsius according contraction

Clearly your change to the routing is in the wrong direction.

Also, if you add stops and guides, will the supporting structure be able to resist the resulting loads without deflection ?

I appreciate your effort exerted

could you see the model in the attachment and tell me what the problem of routing and where is a good location of stops and guides?

upload the unit file.
node 40 to 50 node having more rigid weight, what is it.
springs close to suction drums are pre setted with less loads why?
big size pipes should be supported with low friction pad, so you can avoid friction forces on the nozzles.
what is your allowable loads on the nozzles.

Loc: ShangHai,
too large bore, very difficult to achive more flexibility by change routing, how about allowable values from vendor? The E.J. is necessary to qualify force checking.
