Hi

I am in a situation where i need to model a expansion joint on a Pump discharge. ( chilled water piping)

I could not use the modeller as it gives an message that the Max pressure exceeds the limit .

Is there any pressure limit on the bellows provided by CAESAR II in the database?

Discharge pressure is 32 bar and my vendors are prepared to give me a design.( i could model manually filling in the values of the stiffness , Otherwise is there something i am doing wrong?)

Could anyone throw some light on how i should do this.

Thanks

The limits in the databases are simply the limits on the data provided by the manufacturers. If you have a joint for which the database reports no data, contact the vendor and ask. (Typically, any standard joint in the catalog will be in the database.)
