Hello Caesar Users,

When I am disabling (means switching OFF) the wind factor for a particular area. The output shows the effect of wind in the disabled area.

Please provide a clear cut picture how CAESAR is calculating the wind loads.

I must think that the response is coming from the portion that is not "switched off".

Dear all,

I am calculating a pipe system which is under wind effects. In this project, wind has been fixed according to spanish code CTE-DB-SE-AE para. 3.3 annex. D.

The data recieved from the client is wind direction, wind velicity, area and zone type.

My question is:

In CAESAR i can't find this code when defining the wind loads. Is there any possibility of adding wind loads in CAESAR refered to this code? Or how should we adapt this info to other code given in CAESAR?

If CAESAR II does not list your building code for wind, you must enter your own wind speed verus elevation profile or your wind pressure versus elevation profile instead of selecting a building code.
