How would one proceed with the modeling of a WEAR restraint within CAESAR. WEAR restraints are marketed by Enidine (a division of ITT) and the product litterature notes that a particular WEAR restraint provides 6400 lbs. per inch of stiffness and also provides 15% damping at the support location.
This product is marketed as being suitable to dampen steady state vibration. In my particular instance, there is a SS vibration (not severe but annoying) in the piping between a turbine stop valve and the turbine inlet nozzle.See
