If i select APPENDIX -P option in config file,

we will get operating stress results, but Is there any change in expansion stresses??

Is it adding axial stresses also in expansion stress equation?

CAESAR II is doing exactly what Appendix P says.

Can you please Clarify this doubt,

If user TICK on the Appendix –P, C-II uses expansion equation--sqrt(( IsaI+sb)2+4st2).

In config file, SIF & STRESSES option. B31.3 Para 319.2.[c], Saxial – in that 3 options are there
1.NO DEFAULT [ means sqrt((sb)2+4st2)]
2. |Sa| + Se
3. (|Sa| + Sb) ** 2

If I click ck on APPENDIX –P and I will select option -2 [means |Sa| + Se] , in config file, B31.3 Para 319.2.[c], Saxial.

Then C-II Follows APPENDIX –P or this B31.3 Para 319.2.[c], Saxial option.??

The Configuration Directive "Apply Para. 319.2(c)Saxial" has nothing to do with Appendix P. If you turn on the Appendix P option the "Apply Para. 319.2(c)Saxial" setting is ignored.
