I realize that this may not be the best location to post this but ...

I've been after longer element names (currently 10 characters) and the inclusion of pipe names in the generic neutral file for a while. Do the developers have these items on the enhancement radar and if so is it a near or far enhancement?

I've been looking at the files (extracted from the *.CAESAR II file) and just noticed the *.WRN file which I didn't know existed and will now include in the stress documentation (I guess via cut/paste) for the WRC calculations.

Where are the line names stored and can I create this file programmically when I dump the neutral file out from PDMS/VBasic?

Thank you for your comments.

Yes we want to extend the "node name" length, but the problem is that if you use longer names you'll push the numeric reports off of the right side of the page. We need to solve this issue first - or it will create more problems than it solves.

The "WRN" file contains the Errors and Warnings produced by the Error Checker. Assuming you have no "errors", you can perform the analysis. Once you're in the Output Processor, you can request the "Warning Report" from the list of "load case independent" reports (General Computed Results).

At the moment, Line Number (names) are not stored in the neutral file.
