I've been bitten by another bug this morning. While trying to include a Piping Input file into another model file, Caesar told me that it could only handle file names that are 8 characters long. I ran into the same bug with a structural file last week.

Obviously, these are some holdovers from the DOS version of Caesar. Any word on when these will be fixed to allow long windows file names?

You are correct included piping and structural steel file names must be eight charater names with DOS limitations.

The next CAESAR II Version 4.40 will allow 256 characters Windows names for included piping and structural steel files and all files.
