What formulea does CII use to calculate the 3D maximum stress intensity for B31.4 code, for non buried pipe. I have used the maximum shear stress criterion to calculate S1,S2,S3, but cannot get the same number in CII for a particular node .for example
OPE case W+T2+P2
Node 50
Axial stress-756 (#/in2)
Bending stress-2552
Torsion stress-9
Hoop stress-2816
Code stress-3308
3D stress-5723???

How do you get 5723.
