Anybody here can comment the removal of spring stops for liquid lines?Whether they have to be filled before the stops are removed?Because normally the calculation for cold condition is the pipe filled with liquid.

Yes; it is easier to remove lockpins in that condition of piping with contents.

But, if anyone has analysis results with WNC(with no contents) loadcase satifying stress and equipment load allowables within allowable limits, even removing lockpins with no contents hardly matter.
