Dear Gentlemen!

As you know well, friction factor 0.3 is generally used for pipe stress analysis when the support slides between carbon and carbon plate and 0.1 between teflon and steel.

However, what friction factor can be used when the support slides between stainless steel and stainless steel plate?

which is why anti seize paste is often used for SS Bolts/Nuts

instead of worrying about a single number read the article found on this website on the topic, do a search on the term friction, and finally don't use SS on SS as SuperPiper states..... or go ahead and see what happens
