One of client has asked to carry out WRC for Nozzles as per WRC-537.

As on date, In PV Elite there is no facility for carry out Nozzle load analysis as per WRC-537.

I want to ask support team of PV Elite, When this facility will be avilable?

Could any body tell, how to perform this calculation?

"WRC will no longer deliver WRC 107 when requested for purchase.
WRC 537 provides exactly the same content in a more useful and clear format. It is not an update or a revision of 107. It is the 2010 printing of WRC 107.
"
Quoted from "Foreword to WRC Bulletin 537".

Best regards.

Thank for your reply.

But this calculation is not performed by PV Elite software.
Actually it is asked by Client to perform local load analysis as per WRC 537.

Apart from your Client requirements, when you read "WRC 537 provides exactly the same content [as WRC 107] in a more useful and clear format" and "Those responsible for codes, standards and specifications that require use of WRC 107 should amend those documents to reflect the fact that WRC 537 is equivalent WRC 107 and provides the same acceptable basis for design"....this is not answering your question?

Your question was

Sajit,

The results generated by WRC bulletin 537 are the same as those generated by WRC 107. In bulletin 537 the dimensionless curves are represented by equations instead of plotted curves.

As mentioned by other posters in this thread, the results of either method will yield the same results.

In PV Elite 2013, the references in the printout will be to both 107 and 537. This should clarify the results for calculation reviewers.

You should probably educate the specification writer to the fact that these two methods are effectively identical.
