Hello everybody

I am working on the vertical pipe that has connected to the pump,
for calculating of nozzle load ,can i put the zero for the fluid density to avoid to include the weight of the fluid on the nozzle load?
Any ideas and suggestions?

The column of liquid immediately above a top nozzle is usually excluded from a nozzle load calculation.

Dear Kamran

There could have reducer in pump nozzle, in that case annunlar area between main line Id & nozzle Id need to considered for fluid weight in the stress system.
