A client is specifing wind pressure distribution through the attached formula.
I think that something is not working (try substituting 16m in the second formula, and you'll get 18000Pa for the wind pressure, which is not reasonable at all).
Are these formulae coming from some guideline, some engineering book or so on?
I'm asking this because I think simply that someone copied it in the wrong way....
Wind force (Fw: Kg)
Fw=q x C x A
q=wind pressure (kg.f/m2)
C=shape factor
A =pressure receive surface area (m2)
Wind pressure (q: kg.f/m2)
H<=16m : q=60 x √H
H>16m : q=120 x 4√H
H: hight from GL (m)
