Hi Richard/Dave,

I'm using CII 5.30. For some reason I got ERROR message of unit incompatibility when I tried to add another piping file into my existing one. Both files use the same configuration file. How can I fix this problem?

Thanks

Make sure you have the same units. Use "Convert Input to New Units" on both files.

Hi danb, both files have the same unit (as I mentioned above, the same config file). I have never had a problem adding a piping file in CII version 5.2 or earlier.

Doesn't matter you have the same config file. Once created, a file will maintain the units regardless the config file. Config file will change only the output units, not input units.

Sorry guys, it didn't work.
Out of curiosity, I made copy of another piping file and tried to do 'include piping file'of the copied file to the original one. It should work, shouldn't it? Still, I got the same error message. Has anyone got the same problem with this 5.30 version?

What 5.30.xx are you using? If you can't get it to work, open a Support Request on eCustomer and send in the files.
