In Caesar Version 5.0 when in the inputscreen and clicking on the icon "renumber", only increment is active.
How do you have to renumber the nodes?

What happened with the list command?
It seems to be impossible to print the input from within the inputscreen. It has to be done from within the outputscreen. Is that correct?javascript:void(0)

The renumber icon (Region 1 in the image below) only works on an active block or group of element. The group may be defined either graphicall or via the List.

The List can be activated via the toolbar button (Region 2 in the image below). I suggest you use the small black arrow to activate the particular list you're interested in. Clicking on the toolbar button by itself generates all the lists.

To print the input echo, click on the title bar of the spreadsheet (Region 3 in the image below), this will give the spreadsheet focus. Now select "\File\Print Preview" just as you did in previous versions.



Take a look at the new Videos that came with the software. These will save you a lot of time in learning what is new, improved, and changed in Version 5.00. You can find these Videos off of the Main Menu "\Help\Animated Tutorials".

When you select print/print preview you see the input echo on screen, but you still can't send it to a printer.
When you select print then, the 3d model is printed instead of the input.

In order to print the input you must click on the title bar of the spreadsheet and than on the printer icon of this screen and not File/print/print preview.
Than it works.

I "kind of" disagree. The input typically displays two windows (one for the spreadsheet and one for the graphics), perhaps three if you have requested a LIST. Only one of these windows can have the "(cursor) focus".

When you request a "print action", the window with the focus gets printed.

So to view the input echo on the screen:
- click on the spreadsheet title bar to give that window the focus.
- select "print preview" from the file menu
- pick which input reports you want, then [Ok]

To actually print the input echo:
- click on the spreadsheet title bar to give that window the focus.
- select "print" from the file menu
- pick which input reports you want, then [Ok]
