Richard Ay Member Registered: 12/13/99 Posts: 6226 Loc: Houston, Texas, USA	Wind is addressed in CAESAR II as a psuedo-static event. Many local wind codes (ASCE #7 for example) include a "gust factor" in the computations to account for the non-static behavior. _________________________ Regards, Richard Ay - Consultant

durga Member Registered: 06/18/12 Posts: 345 Loc: India	Richard, Thank you for ur reply, yes we are doing psuedo-static Wind analysis, My doubt is why we are unable to do DYNAMIC WIND ANALSIS like response spectrum as we are doing in the SEISMIC AND SLUG.
