Dear all,
i am working in a subsea Pipeline end manifold piping.the transporting fluid is condensate liquid. i am following ASME31.8 because while i am doing with 31.4 CAESAR II not doing any code stress check in operation case.so i have done the analysis according to ASME B31.8. now i want to clarify that the differances in the calculation between 31.4 and 31.8.
when i am referring the equations in both codes , only difference is:
in ASME B31.4 , not counting the De-rating value for finding the axial stress.
If any body know any thing about the differences in these 2 cases, please share to me.
Also i want to know that is it possible to do analysis based on ASME B31.4 in CAESAR II.

Offshore pipelines = B31.4 chapter IX. In Caesar is separate and need to be specified as such.
