Hi, I am new here and I have one problem with hanger modelling.
I put Lisega hanger to supported pipe from below (available space -1000mm), but after run Caesar gives me hanger above the pipe (Lisega type 2141). Pipe is 250x6,3mm, fluid steam 18bar, t=207C.
I dont know where I am wrong. So anyone could help me?
Thanks anyway.

By definition a "Hanger" in pipe supports means it is from above.

Maybe you mean you are using a "Base Spring Support"?

It does not matter. Iportant is that 41 that mean the Load Group and the Travel Range. Replace the 21 with 29 (it is the Lisega spring support type)

For Lisega, CAESAR II reports all hangers or cans as type 21 (or 22 if large enough).

Hi there I to have the same problem, on selecting “can type “spring by lisega by giving (-ve value in available space), the hanger report from Caesar shows figure number as 21 instead as 29. I am using Caesar version 2013 R1. I am having large number of springs say about 75 can type springs in my model. I can’t change every can type to 29 manually as there are many hanger type spring also. My client will buy spring based on the Caesar generated hanger report.
Kindly advice is there any other way to make Caesar to select figure number 29.

I'd like to see this job. Can you open a Support Request on SmartSupport (formerly eCustomer) and send in the job file?

CAESAR II always reports "Type 21". We'll have to make a change to the software to detect and report "Type 29".
