While taking the report for Input Echo, The pressure is indicated as P1=******* kPa altough the actual file contains the input pressure.

Would anybody clarify the same?

The magnitude of the number CAESAR II is attempting to print is too large for the field that has been allowed for it, hence the asterisks.

The way to correct this is to edit the <em>"element.inp"</em> file (which is located in \caesar\system directory) and change the size of the filed. <em>(Before doing this, make a copy of the file, just in case you mess it up.)</em>

Begining on line 30 in this file, are the format descriptions for the pressure values. Change the 4:4 to 6:4, or 8:4. You can play with these values until you are satisfied with the report.
