My opinion is that cnode displacements need to be fully defined i.e. zero and not free. Cnode is not free. Relationship between node and cnode is defined through the restraint type, so if you have 10 +Y cnode 1010 mean 10 can not move vertically down respect to 1010 but is free in other directions respect to 1010. Cnode is not free to move.
