I have a line that is being installed into an existing system. THe existing line is a chilled water header at 55 degrees F. We will be installing the new line at ambient temperature (70 degrees F), but the header will be operating at 55 degrees F. Is there something we need to consider since the entire install temperature is not ambient? Instead of modeling 230' of the header, we modeled a small portion and have a displacement of .4" due to the temperature. Should we have this displacement in the OPE, the SUS, somewhere else?

I will clarify if needed. Thanks.

You need to consider three scenarios:
- Existing line operating/new line not operating
- Both lines operating
- Both lines not operating
