nikhilsaiba Member Registered: 05/21/07 Posts: 30 Loc: AP,INDIA	Hi all, I am carrying out stress analysis for storage tanks using API 650. I have calculated the radial growth and rotation due to bulging effect at nozzle location. My nozzle in X-Z plane(Horizontal plane). Can anyone suggest me in which direction should i need to consider my rotation. will it be in Ry or Rx (Piping is in Z-Direction)

MoverZ Member Registered: 11/22/06 Posts: 1195 Loc: Hants, UK	Assuming Y is vertical and pipe along Z axis, bulge rotation will be RX.
