Good morning.
I have a system with springs that will be subjected to hydrotest from node 10 to 1000, and without hydrotest from nodes 1000 to 2000.
Is there a flag or some other methods to calculate the hydrotest loads in this situations?
Thank you.

Chakot,

One way is to model the nodes without hydrotest pressure (1000-2000) by inputting zero as hydrotest pressure & the rest with actual test pressure.

I guess there is no other method which would help in this case.

Keep Smiling,

It always helps.

Unfortunately removing the hydropressure from nodes 1000 to 2000 doesn't work.
You could create a new case by hand where you will put water and hydrotest pressure at nodes 10 to 1000, air and no pressure at nodes 1000 to 2000, hanger stiffness set to rigid in load case option tabs, and ambient temperature.

yes,

just by removing sy " value" from input spread sheet from 1000 to 2000 in the system.

The system will not perform stress and load checking from 1000 to 2000 nodes.
