I want some Clarification on nozzle junction Calculation. In nozzle MDMT calculation Although fig.- UCS 66.1M provide temperature reduction for stress ratio higher than 0.35 I found in Pv-elite output in nozzle calculation that program calculates temperature reduction for lower stress ratio. here with i attached sanp shot & pvi file for your reference. if you refer the snap where the stress ratio is 0.131 .how pvelite calculate temp reduction 61 deg c or min metal temp at required thickness as per UCS 66. = -90 deg c. can you please help me.
