Use the expansion joint modeller and read the relevant sections of the Caesar II User Guide before you do anything else.

Thanks.. but I already did the Tied Bellows Expansion Joint - Complex Model with the stiffness from a popular vendor catalogue in Caesar. When I send those stiffness values to the vendor, he came back with the fully articulated bellow. So I googled to find out, how exactly was its profile. To my surprise it was the same as the Tied bellow, except it had two seperate sets of convolutions with a piece of pipe in between.

If anyone, have the idea of how to model a fully articulated bellow. Please present your ideas.

Also increasing the tie-rods diameter, varies the results. As I work with 18" line, I increased the tie-rods from 1" to 3" dia which made quite a difference with the results. Pls advice.

Thanks again..

NICK

"except it had two seperate sets of convolutions with a piece of pipe in between" = universal expansion joint

You can find all you need in the Application Guide.
