Wind Vs. Elevation method.

Design wind pressure P=F/A = qz G Cf

Where Cf = force coefficient =0.7

Question ) Is Force coefficient and Wind shape factor both are same?

If both are same then during CAESAR modeling Wind shape factor =0.7 input is required or just active wind shape factor =1 during Caesar modeling ?

In addition to that 0.7 shape factor is also considered in the CAESAR II model which leads double multiplication of force coefficient and wind shape factor. i.e 0.7 X 0.7, this results lower applied wind pressure.

The value you specify in the Piping Input is used as the value "Cf" in your equation above. There will be no double multiplication.
