Dear Sir,

Error occurs when I try to create stress iso.
I tried it on a very simple model. I'm using Caesar 2011 5.30.01 Build 110228
Please refer to the attached screenshot and error message.
As recommended by Shawn in the previous post "error in pcf file", I have downloaded and installed the vfrun66ai.exe from the following website "http://www.itl.nist.gov/div898/software/dataplot/ftp/pc/homepage.htm", but it did not help.
Could you please help me out? Much obliged.

Regards,

Danorc

Danorc:

Make sure the POD.DLL and MATERIALDATA.DLL are registered, then run the CAESAR ISOGEN Isometrics again.

To register the POD.DLL & MATERIALDATA.DLL files, run the NetUserC2.bat file from the CAESAR II install directory. You will need Admin rights on your PC to register these DLL files successfully.

However, the same error occurred.
Could you please look into the problem and advise what might have gone wrong?
Many thanks.

Danorc & Gyana:

This issue may be related to the Windows UAC (User Account Control) settings on your machine. Under Control Panel > User Accounts > User Accounts turn off the User Account Control, restart CAESAR and try the isometric extraction again.

Dear Dominik,

I'm using Windows XP and it is my company networked pc.
(Caesar 2011 5.30.01 Build 110228)
My understanding is that UAC is not invented till Vista.
Could you please provide other possible remedy for this error?
Really appreciate your time on this one.

Regards,

Danorc

Danorc & Gyana:

Have you tried to setup a style using I-Configure and then using that style in CAESAR II through "Create Isometric Drawing > Use Existing Style". I would like to know if this results in the same issue.

I am unable to reproduce this error and hence cannot pinpoint the cause. You have confirmed that all required DLLs are registered, user access rights are fully enabled, and you have tried alternate ISOGEN configurations. I have found reference to this issue occuring in some cases due to Virus software restrictions, you may want to explore your settings in that regard as well. Meanwhile I will continue to attempt reproducing this error on my end under above confirmed parameters and update you on any further findings.

hi to all.......

I had a same problem like this, What I did is ..

First select the template in CAESAR II, then create Isometric thro CAESAR II. if its not working then your autocad is not working. CAESAR II will pop's up isometric in autocad not in .PDF

If that also not working then send me the file I will create it for you.

FYI: I have just uploaded a new Isogen hot fix to eCustomer for use with CAESAR II version 5.30. This includes a number of bug fixes to the CAESAR II Isogen interface. I would encourage you to download this if you are using CAESAR II 5.30 SP2. If you have any difficulties, log an SR in eCustomer and we will help you ASAP.

Dear Loren,

I am using CAESAR II 5.10 SP2, Before 1 year it was working properly.
I had used both the versions 5.00 & 5.10 for last 4yrs, previously there was not any problem. But from last 1yr I am in problem.

Kindly give me the solution for CAESAR II 5.10 so that we can use this, Because we don't have CAESAR II 5.30.

Thanks & Regards

Please sign-up on Intergraph eCustomer at https:\\crmweb.intergraph.com\ by clicking the "I'm a new user" link, then the "click here" link on the first bullet of the next page. You will need to fill out a short form with your name/e-mail/etc., the submittal process should take two (2) minutes or less. Shortly after you submit the account request form, you will receive an e-mail with your login information.

Once your login information is received, logon to the eCustomer at https:\\crmweb.intergraph.com\ and submit a service request (SR) by clicking the "Submit a Service Request" link. This is a very short and easy process requiring only that you describe the issue and submit. As soon as submitted Intergraph Technical Support (we) will be in touch with you to help resolve the issue.

Signing up on eCustomer will take very little time and will give you access not only to a wider range of Intergraph resources assisting with submitted issues or SRs, it will also give you direct access to Intergraph’s knowledge base articles, latest product updates, and much more.

As for the subject of this post ("Error in processing PCF file"), this could be due to several reasons. Some related to the model and others related to DLL file conflicts between the CAESAR II installation and the I-Configure installation (ProjectManager.dll being the most common culprit). A DLL conflict originates when two or more programs on a single system use ISOGEN and one overwrites DLL files used by the other. You can do a quick check on the ProjectManager.dll yourself by comparing the version of this file in the CAESAR II installation folder to that in the I-Configure common folder (typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Alias\ or without the (x86) on 32-bit machines). These two versions need to match in order for both I-Configure and CAESAR II isometric generation to function properly.

As the exact cause may vary from setup to setup, we need to review each case experiencing this issue individually. We have been able to resolve 100% of CAESAR II DLL conflicts reported through our eCustomer service, I am looking forward to providing you with the same service as soon as possible.

This is an old trouble in forum. Try to use search module and you will find a lot of threads about this.

However, to fix this problem, just install last version of I-Configure.

Regards.
