I am just going to purchase TANK software,i am having few queries,

1.Does the latest version of TANK have provision of Seismic design on old version of API 650 i.e API 650 10 th ED.

2. Does TANK have option to design Supported cone roof with only rafters (means no columns and girder ring).

3.Is Anchorage Design available in TANK software as per AISI part 2 volume 7

In answer to your questions:

1) Appendix E (the seismic appendix) was rewritten for Addendum 4 of the 10th Edition. If you want the procedure before this 4th Addendum, no TANK does not have a provision for this earlier method.

2) Yes, TANK can design a "rafter only" cone roof - no columns or girders.

3) No, TANK only sizes the anchor bolts, the software does not design anchor chairs at this time.

The issue is that our client requires seismic Design on API 650 10 th ED Addendum 03, as it is based on UBC . So, is there any possibility to carry out calculations using TANK software full filling client requirement.

I am confirming of any possibility as you have already mentioned that new version of TANK doesn't support seismic design as per API 650 10 th ED Addendum 03.

The current editions of TANK will not implement the older procedure, found in 10th Ed Addendum 3 (and earlier).
